Doreen Elizabeth Moyer passed away peacefully on Friday, January 3, 2020 at the age of 89. Doreen was a social, caring, and fun-natured woman. She was a member of the Red Hatter Club for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and cutting the lawn, knitting, sewing, and hat making, but most of all, she LOVED shopping. Travelling was a delight for Doreen. She made her way all across Canada, and to the USA and Europe as well. She lived her later years as a Snowbird, travelling to her second home in Florida. Doreen adored movies, having lunch with her friends, and seeing various productions at the local theatres. In her 50’s, Doreen learned to golf, proving that it’s never too late to learn a new skill. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her children Brian Moyer, Cheryl Richard, and Karen Moyer, grandchildren Becky Moyer, Sara Moyer, Jessica Moyer, Mallory Richard, David Richard, Jared Singh, and Maresa Singh, great-grandchildren Jailyn Mills, Camden Hilker, Matison Hilker, Benjamin Nash, and Conner Blair-Singh, and her sister Audrey Leslie. Doreen was predeceased by her beloved husband Floyd Moyer, her brother Robert Marshall, and her sister Ruth Ruby. Friends and relatives are invited
