A native of Rutherford County, NC; daughter of the late Robert Logan Atchley (1891–1950) and Pannie Effie Freeman Atchley (1900–1983); wife of the late Marvin L. Conner (1926–1990).
A graduate of Mt. Vernon High School, a member of Spencer Baptist Church, and a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Left to cherish her memory is son, Harold Dean Conner (Eva Lou); daughter, Brenda Kay Conner Hodge (David); three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Alfred Atchley (1940–2020); sister, Geneva Atchley Wilson (1933–2021).
Also preceded in death by her son, Robert Stephen "Steve" Conner; brothers, Joseph Ray Atchley (1923–2015), Robert L Atchley (1928–1928), George Glenn Atchley (1935–1980); and sisters, Mary Elizabeth Atchley Kimbrell (1921–2011) and Lennie Atchley Jones (1929–2013).
