Mrs. Annie B. Francis Glasgow of South Boston, VA passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the Sentara Woodview Nursing Home after a long illness. She was born October 1, 1939 in Halifax County, VA and was 80 years old. She was the daughter of the late Sam Francis and the late Hallie Clay Francis.



She was a member of the McKendree United Methodist Church.



Mrs. Annie Francis Glasgow is survived by:

One Daughter

Brenda Glasgow Pritchard and husband Heinz of South Boston

One Granddaughter

Kristy Pritchard Nash and husband Kory of South Boston

One Sister

Ella Fisher of Volens

Two Brothers

Acie Francis of Republican Grove

Bobby Francis of Volens

A number of nieces and nephews including, Janice Stewart, Barbara J. Elder, Dale Carpentier and Bobby Francis, Jr.

Former husband, Odie Glasgow

Two brothers and three sisters, and longtime partner, Marvin Thigpen.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the Halifax Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jack Stewart officiating.



The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter, 5003 Quail Roost Rd., South Boston, VA 24592.
