Essie Nickell Alexander, 84, died Thursday, August 14, 1997 at Stewart's Cedar Crest Care Center in Roosevelt.
She was born May 13, 1913 in CedarView, Duchesne County, Utah to Milton H. and Delilah Caldwell Nickell. She married Loren W. Alexander. He died January 31, 1979.She is survived by a son Jack and his wife, Betty Alexander, of Silver City, NM; four grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ethel Taylor, Rangely, CO. She was preceded in death by brothers, Grant and Lynn Nickell and a granddaughter, Lori Alexander.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 20th, at the Roosevelt LDS Stake Center, 447 E. Lagoon. Friends may call at the Hullinger-Olpin Mortuary Tuesday 6-8 p.m. and at the church Wednesday, 10-10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Maeser Cemetery.
