Kevin L. Roland, lifelong resident of Ponca City, passed away Friday, January 3rd, 2020, at his home surrounded by family. He was 62 years of age.
Kevin was born August 13, 1957 in Ponca City, the son of Helen and the late Rev. Isaiah Roland. He grew up in Ponca city and graduated from Ponca City High School. He loved landscaping, playing dominos, fishing and hunting and spending time with Family and friends at his office in the ville. He also had a way of giving his niece and grandchildren unique names like Fenster, Frog, Bacon, Squirrel, and Peanut.
He is survived by his Significant Other; LaVette Coburn, stepchildren; Quenten and Daja, Children; Patrick Roland, Christopher Price, December Price, Samantha Stewart-Poe (Christopher) and a host Grandchildren. His brothers; Atum Kharare, Rev. Jonathan Roland (Ethel), and Issac Roland. Sister’s include Rhobbie Dorsey (Alonzo), Angela Bobb, Pauletta Machebe (Ben), Sherri Pollard (Raymond) Lucretia Williams.
He was preceded in death by his Son Lawrence Edgar Roland, Father Rev. Isaiah Roland, Brothers Kenneth Roland and Ricky Harris, Sister Lucinda Williams, and Uncle George Roland.
