John Yeager, 84, of Catawissa passed away Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020, at his home.
He was born April 23, 1935, in Bear Gap, a son of the late John and Flourence (Artley) Yeager.
He attended Bear Gap schools. He worked at TRW for 38 years and was a lifelong farmer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janice (Tyson) Yeager, who passed Jan. 4, 1999; two brothers: Melvin and Roy Yeager; and two sisters: Betty Lorencen and Dorothy Linn.
John is survived by three daughters: Donna Swank of Bloomsburg, Lori and her husband, Bob Moyer, of Lititz, and Kerry and her husband, Dale Wargo, of Catawissa; eight grandchildren: Heather, Shawna, Eric, Amanda, Amber, Autumn, Danny and Kiera; 16 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary, and her husband, Marvin Levan.
Service will be Monday, Jan. 13, 2020, at noon at Allen R. Horne Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 193 McIntyre Road, Catawissa, with Pastor Chris Dunlap officiating. Burial will be at Elan Memorial Park.
