My lovely wife was raised in San Miguel de Allende in her family's ancestral state of Guanajuato. She was born to Antonio Cerroblanco Sanchez and María Concepción Mendoza Pérez . Silvia's brothers are Antonio, Marcelino, and Pablo. Her sisters are Hilda, Lupita, Conchita, Claudia and Sandra. Her brother Renecito died as an infant.

Silvia and I married, after dating for three years, on September 28th, 1989 in La Parroquia of San Miguel de Allende. We had five children; Antonio, Michael, Frank, Analiz and Moisés.

Silvia was a strong woman and deeply devoted Catholic. She loved to sing, dance, whistle, laugh, pray, and simply be with her family.

In the Fall of 2011 she became sick with what would eventually be diagnosed as Wegener's Granulomatosis, an especially rare autoimmune disease. She fought a calm and determined fight with the assistance of her family and faith. She lived long enough to dote on her first grandchild, Aurora. She died on January 5th, 2019.
