Joyce Ann Cagle, age 66
Born on September 7, 1953, passed away suddenly on December 31, 2019 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville, Tennessee.
Born at Epperson Hospital in Athens, Tennessee, she is preceded in death by her father; Lee Roy Cagle and brother; David Bruce Cagle.
Survivors include her mother; Margie Cagle of Niota, Tennessee.
Brother; Roy and wife Marcella Marcy-Cagle of Ten Mile, Tennessee.
Brother; Wayne and wife Teri Cagle of Niota, Tennessee.
Joyce attended Tri-County Center in Athens for 40 years, where she loved helping Meals on Wheels, participating in the Special Olympics, Camp and Bowling.
Joyce was a sweet soul who touched many lives in this world and has been received in heaven with open arms. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, but love leaves a memory that no one can steal.
The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Sweetwater Memory Chapel. Funeral Service to follow at 5:00 pm with Rev. Robert Jenkins officiating.
Graveside service and Interment will be 2:00 pm Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Old Fashion Baptist Church Cemetery in Niota, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tri-County Center or Special Olympics.
