Wayne Cagle, age 74, of Niota passed away on May 15, 2023. He was born on May 5, 1949, to Margie and Lee Roy Cagle. Wayne loved hunting, fishing, cooking, dancing, traveling, and cruises. He also loved his family, especially his grandbabies. He worked at the CO-OP in Athens, was a welder at Heil, and owned his own successful deer processing house, The Meat House.
He leaves behind his wife of 23 years: Teri Cagle; his children: James (Kelly) Cagle, Jenny Cagle, Stel (Brandy) Alfonso; grandkids, Taylor Cagle, Kristin Goins, Dylan Goins, Justin Goins, Andru Alfonso, Alyssa Alfonso, Josalyn Alfonso; brother, Roy (Marcella) Cagle; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members that he dearly loved. He also leaves behind more friends than we can list.
Receiving of friends will be on Friday, May 19, 2023, at Sweetwater Memory Chapel from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 8:00 PM with Preachers Bryan Coffey and Ronnie Best officiating. Per his wishes, Wayne will be cremated after the services and spread in some of his favorite places.
Honorary Pallbearers are the Thursday night Board Meeting Members.
