Denise was born on Nov. 11, 1961, in Peoria, a daughter of Herbert and Rose (Fox) Sparkman. She married Steven Grant on Sept. 26, 2013, in Peoria.
She is survived by her husband of Peoria; parents of Creve Coeur; and three sisters, Debra Osmundson of Creve Coeur, Linda Orentsch of Pekin and Deanna Hieronynus of Creve Coeur.
She last worked for Bard Optical in Peoria as the manager of information technology.
