Mr. Lee Andrew Harris, 84, of Blackshear, passed away early Monday morning, December 30, 2019, at his residence.
A native of Screven, Georgia and a son of the late Elmer and Lottie Griffis Harris;
also preceded in death by his sisters, Evelyn Hargrove, Ela Harris, Mildred Ambrose, BeBe Harris and Judy Harris; and a brother, Lamar Harris.
He had lived in West Palm Beach for many years before moving to Blackshear in 2003. He loved to work with his hands, especially in construction. He loved his family dearly. He was a member of the Blackshear Church of God.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mary Peace Harris of Blackshear;
a daughter :
Sherry Lynn Harris (Jay) McDonald of Dania Beach, FL;
several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 2:00 o'clock.
Interment will be in the Ritch Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
