Mrs. Marie L. Fredericks, 78, Toluca, passed away today at Methodist Hospital, Peoria. She had formerly resided in Maple Lawn nursing home, Eureka.

She was born in Flanagan, Dec. 15, 1892, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kemper. She married Simon Fredericks at Minonk in 1908. He died April 1, 1950.

Surviving are three daughters: Mrs. Helen Decker, Holiday, Fla., Mrs. Viola Marchand, Metamora, and Mrs. Marianne Hoffman, Madison Wis.; eight sons: Joseph, Simon, Ernest, Frank, Lester and Elmer, all of Joliet, Bernard, Toluca, and Charles, Metamora; and a sister, Edith, Osage, Iowa.

Preceding her in death were a daughter and a sister, in addition to her husband.

Services will be Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in St. John Lutheran Church, Toluca. Rev. Ronald L. Kruger will officiate. Burial will be in St. John Lutheran cemetery, Toluca.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. in Aimone Funeral Home and at the church Thursday one hour before services.

Mrs. Frederick was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and its Ladies' Aid Society.
