Born in Oklahoma, Ms. Norton was a daughter of the late Lester Dean Brakhage and Hazel Denney Brakhage Digman. She loved going to church, to thrift stores and spending time with her family. She loved music and loved to dance. She was one the most loving people god ever created.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Norton was preceded in death by brothers, Ray Brakhage and Charles Brakhage and sisters, Denise Brakhage Guined and Tammy Brakhage Steeley.
Survivors include children, Melody Norton, Amanda Norton (Lewis Howard), Travis Norton (Tabatha) and Natasha Jones (Daniel); brothers, Mike Brakhage and Dennis Brakhage (Tanya); sister, Kathy Brakhage; grandchildren, Nathaniel Snyder, Daniel Snyder, Taylor Snyder, MacKenzie Howard, Adam Howard, Grant Williams, Nathaniel Jones, Bailey Jones and Memphis Jones; great-grandchildren, Caleb Snyder and Coheed Snyder; a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 26 2019 at 2 p.m. at the Bernstein Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dennis Brakhage officiating.
