Desert Sun May 15, 1978 Graveside services will be held Tuesday for Dr. Vincent J. Maguire Jr., 35, a resident of Palm Springs and Oakland, who died Thursday on his yacht near San Francisco. A native of Massachusetts, he had been an orthopedic surgeon. After graduating from Tufts Medical College in Massachusetts, Maguire interned at Harbor General Hospital in Torrance. He w as a flight surgeon in the Naval Air Force until 1970, and was the former owner of the Village Manor Apartment Hotel here. He is survived by his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Maguire of Palm Springs: a brother, John Maguire of San Diego; his paternal grandmother, Margaret M. Moore of Palm Springs; and his maternal grandfather, Stanley Lekarcyk of Lawrence, Mass. Services will be held graveside at 10:30 a m. Tuesday in Desert Memorial Park Cemetery. Mass will be said at 8 p.m. Wednesday in St. Clements Catholic Church in Hayward.
