Nina B. Greenleaf, 74, of Greenleeaf Road died Sunday at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta.
She was born in Dennysville, a daughter of Bill and Mazie Hallowell Brown, attended Dennysville Elementary School moved to Wiscasset and graduated from Wiscasset Academy.
On Sept 23, 1939, she married Walter E. Greenleaf.
They moved to Westport Island, where she was active working around the house.
She was a member of the Westport Island Baptist Church
and the Eastern Star in Wiscasset, and was active in her bowling league.
Her husband died in 1981.
Mrs. Greenleaf leaves three sons, W. Eben Jr. and
Murlyn H., both of Westport Island,
and Lee S. of Livemore Falls; a daughter, Pheobe A Cromwell of Westport Island; two sisters, Carrie Kinsella of Westport Island and Emma Kutza of Syracuse, N.Y.;
12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mayo & Daigle Funeral Home,
Federal Street, Wiscasset Burial will follow in Greenleaf Family Cemetery.
