LANCASTER, S.C. Staff Sgt. John Thomas Lindsey age 84 died Friday January 8, 2021 at White Oak Manor.
The funeral will be 2 P.M. graveside Monday January 11, 2021 at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery by
Rev. Dr. Trent McLaughlin, burial with the U.S. Marine Corp Honors will be in the Church Cemetery.
After the Service the Family will receive friends at the home of Barbara and John Lindsey.
Mr. Lindsey was born July 8, 1936 in Boyle, Mississippi a son of the late Edgar Dexter Lindsey and Ida Lucille
Smith Lindsey, and was married to the late Bobbie Church Lindsey mother of their children.
Mr. Lindsey retired from the U.S. Marine Corp after 20 years of Service, a mason in Jacksonville, N.C. Lodge,
and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
He is survived by his 3 Sons Ferris (Buddy) Lindsey, John Lindsey and wife Barbara Lindsey,
and David Lindsey and wife Susan, Grandchildren Bryan Lindsey, Melissa Moseley, Jason Lindsey, James Bill Crenshaw,
and Beth Thompson, 2 Brothers Dexter Lindsey, and William Lindsey.
He was preceded in Death by a daughter-in-law Joanne Lindsey, 2 Brothers Eugene and Joe Lindsey,
2 Sisters Evelyn Curtis and Louise (Sis) Palacios.
