Marjorie McCubrey Dahlberg, 92, of Exton, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at her home at Ashbridge Manor, Downingtown, after a brief illness. She had lived in Exton since 1961. She was the loving wife of the late Fred Dahlberg, with whom she had shared 66 years of marriage at the time of his passing in 2008.

Born March 21, 1921 in Worcester, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Roy and Dora Fields McCubrey. She was the office manager of AAA of Chester County, 129 Gay Street, West Chester, during the sixties and seventies.

Mrs. Dahlberg was a member of the Downingtown United Methodist Church, Lydia Circle, Uwchlan Women's Club and Garden Club, the Red Hats Society, and the Women's Auxiliary of Chester County Hospital.

In 1994, she worked to keep the grounds of the Church Farm School open and green. She was known for her positive attitude and sense of fun.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Ward and husband, John, of Downingtown, and Lois Nunnermacker and husband, Dwight Frey, of Lehighton. She is also survived by grandchildren, Amy Ward Lum and husband, Brandon, Scott Ward and wife, Gail, and Glenn Nunnermacker and wife, Erica; and by her great-grandson, Liam Matthew Ward. A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 25th, at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown, where family and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marge's name to the Uwchlan Conservation Trust, Inc., P. O.
