Sara Rebecca Howard Lemaster, age 79 of Shepherdsville, KY, formerly of Paintsville, died Saturday July 18, 2020 in Louisville, KY. She was born July 13, 1941 in Paintsville to the late Sidney and Judy Arrowood Howard. Sara was a homemaker. On February 18, 1960 in Columbus, OH she married Delano Lemaster who precedes her in death (October 4, 2002). Surviving are 3 sons; Ronnie Lemaster, Scotty Lemaster of West Van Lear, and Timothy Steven Lemaster, 1 brother; Lowell Ray Howard of West Van Lear, 1 sister; Alice Fitch of Meally, 6 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and a special companion, her dog Candy Lynn. Friends may visit the Preston Funeral Home on Monday July 20 from 12 noon until 2 P.M. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday at 2 P.M. in the Preston Funeral Home Chapel with William Canterbury officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date in the Skaggs/Young Cemetery in Lowmansville.
