The Funeral of James Hanna.
The funeral of the late James Hanna took place yesterday afternoon from the family residence, on the corner of Second and J sts. under the auspices of Humboldt Lodge No 79 F & A M of which the deceased was a member of long standing. The services at the house, which were very impressive, were conducted by the Rev. C. A. Huntington. A long line of carriages and a great number of people on foot followed the remains to Myrtle Grove Cemetery, where the beautiful Masonic burial service was conducted by C. L. M. Howard, W M, and the grand honors were given with solemnity. The Society of Humboldt County Pioneers, of which deceased was an honored member, testified respect by attending the obsequies in a body. The pall bearers from the Masonic fraternity were Messrs. Jesse Dungan, N. Bullock and C. W. Long; from the Pioneers, Messrs. John Vance, J. J. DeHaven and S. G. Whipple.
