Gary Bowen of Campbellsville, son of Bernice Sapp Bowen Cox and the late Lewis Bowen, was born August 10, 1955 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 12:20 A.M., Saturday, December 21, 2019 in Campbellsville.
He professed faith in Christ and was baptized. Gary was a former construction worker and bricklayer and was known for taking pride in his work. He will be remember as a loving husband, father and grandfather and was always cutting up with his friends. He united in marriage in 1998. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, his mother, three brothers ,several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Gary was also preceded in death by one son and daughter: Adam Bowen November 15, 2009 and Kelli Jo Bowen in infancy.
