Services celebrating the life of Wayne Webb, 80, of Marietta, OK are set for Saturday, December 16, 2017, in the Enville Community Church with Rev. Don Keizor officiating. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta, will follow under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Marietta.

The son of Carl William and Louvada Webb, Wayne was born in Arnold, TX on July 10, 1937. He passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017, in Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center, Houston, TX

Mr. Webb and the former Billie Maxine Green were married on June 15, 1956 in Fort Worth, TX. Residents of Love County for the past 21 ½ years, the couple had previously made their home in Hurst, TX. Wayne was a postal carrier for the United States Postal Service as well as a licensed minister. Throughout his life he had served as song leader at various churches, in addition to serving as the associate pastor of Ardmore's Bethel Assembly for 11 ½ years. While making their home in the Enville community, the couple attended the Enville Community Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sons, Jimmy Webb and Steven Webb.

Survivors include his wife, Billie Maxine of the home; son, Bryan Webb and wife Renee of Vanuatu, SW Pacific; daughter, Cheri Persinger and husband Victor of Dayton, TX; daughter-in-law, Virginia Webb of Dallas, TX; three sisters, Dortha Brann of Piedmont, OK and Carlene Grant and Cathy Collins and husband Steve of Lancaster, TX; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
