Margaret Sue (Luther) Hepola was born June 11, 1943 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Euil and Offie (Doshier) Luther. She join her Lord and Savior on December 8, 2019 just before 8 PM, surrounded by her loving family.

Margaret was youngest of the family with two older sisters and two older brothers. At age 17, Margaret married the love of her life, Eugene L. Hepola on February 25, 1961, and graduated from Elk City High School in May. She and Gene welcomed their first daughter, Amy Suzanne in October 1963 and a little over five years later in February 1969, they had twin girls, Kaye Linn and Keri Beth Hepola. The Family of five settled in Tulsa, Oklahoma where Margaret looked after the home and the girls until 1977, but she begin working in downtown Tulsa. She became a Senior Underwriter Assistant Manager for Atlas life Insurance Company until retiring in 1991.

Margaret was a founding member of Evergreen Baptist Church and was active in worshiping and serving for 20 years. Her Sunday School Class became her extended family and she loved attending socials, playing cards and dominoes, and doing life with them. She enjoyed hosting dinners in the holidays in her home, where she never turn down an opportunity to cook a delicious meal or make baked goods and desserts. Although she took pride in her children and grandchildren and could not brag enough about them, she was most proud of the fact that all of them have a relationship with Jesus Christ. This coming February 2020, Gene and Margaret would have celebrated 59 years of marriage.

Margaret is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Gene; their three daughters, Amy Hawley and her husband Billy of Tulsa; Kaye Linn Hewitt and husband Jeff of Broken Arrow, OK; and Keri Beth Hepola of Broken Arrow, OK; her brothers Donald Gene Luther and wife Tampa of Baton Rouge, LA, and C.
