Son of Roy and Merle Cox.
Married Mary K Hougland September 15, 1957 in Covington, IN. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include daughters Camilla Sawick, Connie (Ken) Lee and Carla (Fred) Earl; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother Gordon (Penny) Cox. He was also preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law David Sawick, three brothers and a sister.

Honorably served in the Armed Forces of the United States from 1953-1955.

Worked at R.R. Donnelley & Sons for 42 years while also farming where he took pride in his weed-free gardening skills.

He loved nature, especially his birds and being surrounded by wildlife.

He was an active member of the Congregational Christian Church in Darlington since 1966 and served as deacon for over 25 years.

Funeral service 7pm Thursday, December 19 at Darlington Congregational Christian Church,
Visitation 4pm until time of service.
Burial 11am Friday, December 20.
