Janice L. Morgan, 82 formerly of Sterling died Monday December 2, 2019 at Aurora St. Luke Hospital in Milwaukee.

She was born on November 11, 1937 in Sterling, the daughter of Leroy Howard and Mary Ellen (LaMont) Varner. Janice was a 1955 graduate of Sterling High School and had attended Sauk Valley College. She had worked for many years as a nurse.

Survivors include her children: Emmit "Buster" (Elizabeth) Morgan of Little Elm, TX, John Morgan of Harvard, NE, Timothy (Melinda) Morgan of Sterling, James Morgan of Milwaukee, Howard Ratzlaff and Teri Ratzlaff both of North Carolina; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A gathering of friends and family will take place on Sunday December 8, 2019 from 1-2 PM followed by a memorial service at 2 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1002 12th Avenue in Rock Falls. The Reverend Kenneth Zuitoff will officiate.
