"Mrs. Alexander Dickson Passed Away in Arizona"
"Mrs. Sarepta Johnston Dickson, 82, widow of Alexander Dickson, died in Moss, Arizona, Tuesday evening after a month's illness. She was born in Jackson township Oct. 31, 1846, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Johnston, and was the last of her immediate family. She was married to Mr. Dickson Sept. 17, 1867, and for a time resided in Milton, coming to Canfield with her husband when he was elected county treasurer, an office he filled three terms. Her residence in this place covered nearly 50 years. Mr. Dickson has been dead 17 years. Ten years since she removed with her son, Harry J. Dickson, to Arizona, making her home with him. She was a life member of the Presbyterian church and active in its work as long as her health permitted. Surviving are her son, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The remains will arrive in Youngstown Saturday and be taken to the Orr Funeral Home and then brought to the residence of W. J. Dickson, W. Main St., Canfield, Sunday morning. Funeral services there Sunday afternoon at 2:30 in charge of rev. J. Carroll Wright. Burial will be in the Canfield cemetery."
