WOODLAND - Josephine I. Stevens, 58, of Woodland died at Clearfield Hospital.
Born June 26, 1922, in Irvona, she was the daughter of George and Mary E. (Morrison) Stone. She attended the Christian and Missionary Church of Clearfield and was a member of the Clearfield Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, Aerie No. 812.
Mrs. Stevens is survived by two children, Mrs. Alan (Judy) Probeck of Osceola Mills and Mrs. Terry (Sis) Jordan of Woodland, and one brother, Charles J. Stone Sr. of Clearfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leslie Duane "Muckel" Stevens, in 1966, a granddaughter and two sisters, Dorothy Stone and Adeline Stone Moore.
The Rev. Duane White will officiate at the funeral, Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc., Clearfield. Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and until the hour of services Friday.
