Lance Stewart Robinson, 32, died Tuesday, May 29, 2001, in Destin, Fla. Visitation is 9-11 a.m. Friday at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home. Services are 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Lance was a longtime employee of the Mississippi Department of Transportation as a highway inspector. He attended school in Canton and Pearl and graduated from Hinds Community College. He was on holiday in Destin, Fla., his favorite place in the world, when he died. He was preceded in death by his father, William Durward Robinson. Survivors include: his mother, Sherley Stewart Moore and stepfather, Albert D. Moore of Jackson; sister Sonia Jones of Pearl; uncles, Curtis Stewart of Brandon and Jimmy Stewart of Pearl; aunt, Delores Robinson Alameddine of Carrollton, Texas; nephew, Eric Adcock of Pearl; step uncle, Alfred Moore of Charleston, S. C. and two stepsisters.
