It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear brother, uncle and friend Case, on March 29, 2008, at the age of 89 years.

Case was born on his parent's homestead in Fisher Branch on August 11, 1918. He attended school in Marble and Laval. He worked for T and T Seed Co., briefly after the war. Case spent most of his life on the farm, where he and his brother Jack raised Simmental cattle. Case was a quiet man, but he loved to visit and play cards with his friends. He was a nature enthusiast who knew all there was to know about plants, animals and insects. He loved to plant trees and work in the bush cutting firewood. Case took great pride in his garden and delighted in showing off his early tomatoes. He also enjoyed curling, fishing, golfing and, in his later years, camping and travelling.

Case was predeceased by his parents Bert and Cornelia, his infant sister Bertha Alida, and his brothers Jack, Bert, and Tony. He will be sadly missed by his twin sister Susie (Bouchard) and his eldest sister Bertha. Also left to mourn his passing are his cousin and special friend Joanne van Collenburg, his sisters-in-law Lil Vandersteen and Leona Vandersteen as well as his nephews, nieces and friends.

Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 4 at 11:00 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church with interment to follow in the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Cemetery. Father Michael Raj Savarimuthu will be officiating.
