Winamac resident.
Passed away Friday in Pulaski County Health Care Center, following a battle with Glioblastoma.

Son of Richard Eugene and Patricia Marie Hilton Fulmer.
Married Trina Dawn Crist October 8, 1994 in Winamac.
She survives.
Also surviving are sons Gavin (Destiny Crawford) and Cooper Fulmer; brother Eugene Fulmer; sister Cathy (Scott) Vollmer; brother-in-law Dave Scott; in-laws Wayne and Phyllis Crist; sister-in-laws Tasha (Parish) Foerg, Tiffany (Steve) Davis and Tennille Calabrese; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Kim Scott.

1987 graduate of West Central High School.

Joined the US Marine Corps, serving in Operation Desert Storm. He was discharged with the rank of Corporal.

Employed by Wastequip in Winamac, as a Sales Rep for the past nine years where he twice earned ‘Salesman of the Year’. He was very customer service oriented and went out of his way to accommodate their needs. He was previously employed by Braun Corp. and Pentair-Krystil Klear.

Steve was a proud Marine and served as past Commander at the Winamac VFW Post 1728 where he was an active member.

He enjoyed following his sons as they played sports, coached girls softball summer league for many years, and loved all sports. He was an avid fan of the Black Hawks, Redskins, Cubs, NASCAR with Bill Elliott his favorite driver. He enjoyed watching Notre Dame football, IU basketball and his favorite college team was anyone playing Purdue! Most of all, Steve loved his family, his VFW family and his dog Denver.

Funeral service 3pm Saturday, December 7 at First Christian Church, Winamac with Pastor Jeff Seger officiating. Military honors by VFW Post 1728.
Visitation 11am until time of service.
