Kay Minor Ellis, 60, a resident of 1665 Enon Rd., died Friday, October 9, 1998.

A native of Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Henry H. and Nellie B. Freeman Minor and widow of Robert Lee Ellis. She was a member of Geneva Presbyterian Church and was retired from Murdoch Center after 21 years of service.

Funeral services 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 12, 1998, at Geneva Presbyterian Church, with the Revs. Don Morris and George Crofoot officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving are a daughter, Wendy E. Hall and husband, Eddie, of Oxford; two brothers, Bryant and Al Minor, both of Butner; one grandchild, Haley Brooke Hall; and sister-in-law, Patricia E. Bradsher and husband, Duke. Visitation will be held Sunday night at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and at other times at the home of Duke and Patricia Bradsher, 2564 Enon Rd. Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford in charge of arrangements.
