Funeral Services Held -- Burial
Monday at Birthplace,
Lowell, Mass.

Funeral services for Everett Addison Hadley, chief engineer of the Missouri Pacific Railroad, who died yesterday at Missouri Pacific Hospital of heart disease, were held this afternoon at Pilgrim Congregational Church, Union boulevard and Kensington avenue. The burial will take place Monday at Mr. Hadley's birthplace, Lowell. Mass.

Mr. Hadley was 53 years old and resided at 6061 Pershing avenue. He began his railroad career in 1900 as draftsman for the Boston & Maine Railroad, after serving an apprenticeship with an engineering firm in Lowell.

In 1910 be became engineer of design fcr the Missouri Pacific and advanced to the position of chief engineer in 1915. From 1913 to 1920, during the Federal control of railroads, he served as assistant engineer to the director pf the Southwestern region, returning to the Missouri Pacific after termination of the Government administration.

Mr. Hadle was a son of Frank Milan and Susan Lillian Hadley, both descendants of active participants In the Revolutionary War. He is survived by his widow. Mrs. Lilla Sturtevant Hadley, and a son, Carleton S. Hadley.

Active pallbearers for the services here were Baxter L. Brown, George E. Chamberlin, Delos G. Haynes, F. P. Johnson, A. A. Miller, Samuel F. Platt, E. O. Sweetser and F. C Woermann. Honorary pallbearers will include officers of the Missouri Pacific Railroad and members of the Engineering Society.
