Funeral services for Mrs. Lille S. Hadley, 75, widow of Everett A. Hadley, chief engineer of the Missouri Pacific Railroad, who died Saturday of infirmities at the Bernard Nursing Home, 4335 Maryland ave., will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Lupton Chapel, 7233 Delmar bl., University City. Burial will he in Lowell, Mass.
A native of Lowell, Mass., Mrs. Hadley was formerly an active worker in the Pilgrim Congregational Church and the American Red Cross here. Mr. Hadley, who died in 1932, had been an employe of the railroad for 22 years. -
She was the mother of the late Carleton S. Hadley, general counsel for the Wabash Railroad. He d1ed in 1945 and his widow later married Alben W. Barkley, former vice president of the United States.
Mrs. Hadley is survived by two granddaughters, Miss Jane R. Hadley of Paducah, Ky., and Mrs. Weldon Behrends of San Angelo, Tex.
