Mr. Billy W. Kennedy, 68, of Sandy Hook, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

He was born on March 13, 1951 in Ashland, Kentucky, a son of the late Estill and Hazel Swinford Kennedy.

Mr. Kennedy was a graduate of West Carter High School 1970 and had retired from quality control inspector for the Westinghouse in Mansfield, Ohio.

He attended the Liberty Independent Church. he enjoyed playing bingo, was an avid UK fan, enjoyed coaching baseball, also enjoyed umpiring baseball and softball games, enjoyed cooking and especially enjoyed attending church services and events.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one step-daughter Elta Caskey, one brother, Bobby Kennedy and one sister, Lavona June Kennedy.

Survivors include his wife, Patty Muse Kennedy, two sons, Billy W. (Amy) Kennedy and Robert Stacy (Angela) Kennedy both of Ashland, Ohio, three step-sons, Denzil Lewis, Hobert( Shanna) Helton both of Panama City Beach, Florida and Stephen (Brandy) Caskey of Sandy Hook, three brothers Charles Kennedy of Klamath Falls, Oregon, Vernon Kennedy of Columbus, Georgia, and Darrell Kennedy of Morehead, two sisters Wanda Parker of Morehead and Garnet Williams of Salt Lick, a host of grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday May 13, 2019 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Pastor Greg Ferrell and Pastor Brock Cox officiating..
