Marilyn (Lynn) Hall 81 years passed away to join our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, peacefully with family present. She was born in a small lumber town Huttig, Arkansas to Bill and Bessie Jones. Bill abandoned their family during the depression and she was raised with her siblings in Dallas, Texas by step-father Tommy Thompson and mother Bessie. Lynn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her husband retired from the USAF in November 1968, they moved to Austin, Texas. He and Lynn both retired from the University of Texas in August 1993. Lynn was preceded in death by father Tommy Thompson, mother Bessie Thompson, brothers, Ugene Jones and Carl Wayne Jones. She will be greatly missed by the surviving family; her loving, adoring, and best friend of 62 years, 3 children, son, daughter, son; grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and sister,; nephew and other friends and family. The family wishes to thank Dr. Larry C. Kravitz (ARC) for his constant care and deep concern over the years of Lynn’s illness. And thanks to Fr. Wade Russell (STM) for his loving spiritual care during our time of sorrow, and Kay for her special help and care of Mom. We love you Mom and we will miss you terribly, but your love will be with us always. Thank you for being such a loving wife and caring mother. You are dearly loved and greatly missed till we are together again. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 10:00am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 10205 FM 620N, Austin, Texas 78726.
