Preceded in death by his father, Jerry Lee Austin; and his mother, Sandra Easley. Chris was co-owner of the Batters Box Bar and Grill.
He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend and he will be missed by all who knew him.
Survived by wife of 14 years, Rachael Austin; son, Christopher Lee Austin, Jr.; daughters, Anna Lea Austin, Kristin Austin and Rachel Austin; 7 grandchildren; sister, Tamela Nix; and brother, Ryan Lee (Lucia) Austin.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 2 β 8 p.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, 3620 Nolensville Road, 615-832-1948.
