Eddie Lee White was born March 21, 1935 in Jenson, Arkansas to Clarence and Minnie (Colley) Williams and passed away November 24, 2019 in Pocola, Oklahoma at the age of 84.

She is survived by her husband James White, one daughter, Linda Sweeten and husband Troy, two sons, Carl Anderson and wife Evelena, Billy Anderson and wife Linda, three step-daughters, Julia Fuselier, Janice Merriman, Joyce White Adams, one step son, David White and wife Linda, four grandchildren, Yancy Sweeten and wife Tonya, Stacy Sweeten, Wesley Anderson and wife Brandi, Jacob Anderson and wife Johanna, eight great grandchildren, Makensi Sweeten, Allee Sweeten, Courtney Anderson, Haley Anderson, Alexis Anderson, Maddix Anderson, Jeremy Anderson, Cody Anderson, eight step grandchildren, 15 step great grandchildren, two sisters, Clara Crawford and husband Arnold, Bonnie Finchum, one sister in law, Austine Williams, two brothers, LD Williams and wife Christine, Robert Williams and wife Billie.

Eddie is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Minnie, a grandson Jeremy Anderson, one brother Bud Williams, one sister, Viola Kilgore, six half siblings, and three step great grandchildren. She was a member of the Poteau Church of Christ and a retiree from Whirlpool. Eddie enjoyed working in her yard and loved her family dearly.

Funeral services will be at the Grace Manor Chapel in Poteau, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in the Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Grace Funeral Services of Poteau. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org or by calling 800-272-3900.
