Early Life: William "Bud" was born February 22, 1932, in Sugar House, Utah, to Raphael Charles and Anna Ethel Healy Cottrell. Bud graduated from Granite High School in 1951.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: He enlisted in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Southern California and Arizona from 1955 to 1957. On September 10, 1960, Bud married his sweetheart, Adella Jane Faux, in the Manti Utah Temple. They were married for 59 years. He served in many church callings throughout his life and enjoyed his service at the Provo Utah Temple for 12 years. Bud finished his education at Brigham Young University then worked at Hercules Aerospace for 30 years. He also enjoyed BYU sports, hunting, working in the yard, boating, and summer vacations with his family. William Raphael "Bud" Cottrell passed away November 21, 2019, in Payson, Utah. He was 87.

Survived By: His wife, Adella; three children: Jaynie Sue (Clark) Harmon, Marie (Gayle) Pollock and Ray Cottrell; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and sister, Claudia Keldsen.
