Mrs. Charles Duffee.

Mrs. Elizabeth Switzer Duffee, aged 75 years, wife of Charles Duffee, died at 6 o'clock this morning in the Oil City hospital of a complication of diseases. Mrs. Duffee was born in Cranberry township but came to Oil City in the early 60's and practically all her life was spent here. She was a member of Trinity Methodist Episcopal church and was held in the highest esteem by a wide circle of friends. Surviving are her husband and the following children: Robert and Samuel Switzer and Mrs. William Haggerty, of Oil City; and Mrs. E. J. Dibble of Warren. She also leaves five grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: John and Clint Shannon of Bellevue, Pa.; Peter Shannon of Murrinsville; David Shannon, of West Virginia; and Mrs. James Sadler of Oil City.

The body was removed to the house of her daughter at 320 Bissell avenue, where funeral services will be held at a time to be named later.
