Charles “David” Crews, 68, of Jesup died Tuesday, November 19, 2019. The former Long County resident had lived in Wayne County for the past 20 years and was a member of House of Worship and Ministries. He was a supervisor and 37- year retiree with Rayonier. David was a muscle car enthusiast and also enjoyed old Western movies. His parents, Buster Crews and Sarah Nasworthy, preceded him in death along with his sister, Cathy Lynn.

Survivors are his wife of 20 years, Tammy Beasley Crews of Jesup; 3 sons, Terry (Christi) Crews, Benjamin Crews, both of Jesup, Joshua (Kayla Phillips) Harris of Jesup; a daughter, Heather (Ryan) Teter of Tallahassee, Fla.; a brother, James (Karen) Crews of Riceboro; 5 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Friday, November 22, 2019 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Pastor Mickey Tomberlin officiating. Interment will follow in the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be family and friends.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
