Anthony Lukowski, 51, of 102 Morgan Avenue, a native of Poland and a resident of Syracuse the last 30 years, died this morning at the Hospital of the Good Shepherd after a week's illness. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Anna Lukowskl; four sons, Thaddeus, John, a member of Central High School football team, Edward and Walter Lukowski; a daughter, Miss Mary Lukowski, and a brother, Valentine Lukowski in Philadelphia, Pa. Mr. Lukowski was a member of the Polish National Alliance. Arrangements for his funeral are incomplete.

Anthony Lukowski, who died last week [Feb. 22, 1934], was buried this morning. The funeral was from his home, 102 Morgan Avenue, and high requiem mass was sung in Sacred Heart Church by the Rev. Francis Rusin. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Bearers were Frank Chludzinski, Joseph Kaczmarczyk, Anthony Krystosik, Chester Meckowski, John Lenkiewicz and Casmir Indyk.

According to the 1930 United States Federal Census, Anthony Lukowski and his wife Anna resided at 102 Morgan Street in a house they owned. Anthony was 50 years old and born in Poland about 1880. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1907. He was not a citizen and his occupation was laborer in the steam rail road industry. His wife Anna was 41 years old and born in Poland about 1889. She immigrated to the U.S. in 1910 and was not a citizen. Living with them were their children: Mary (18 years old, occupation sewing in a taylor shop); Teddy (17, occupation potter in a china pottery): John (15); Edward (12); Walter (6 months old).
