Clyde was the husband of Lillian Carson Tucker and the son of Samuel Wilson and Mary Bettie Harned Tucker.

OBITUARY
Clyde LeRoy Tucker
Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 22, 1961, in the First Baptist Church of Cherokee for C. L. Tucker who departed this life June 18, 1961. The Reverend Don L. Forsman of the First Methodist Church and Reverend W. H. Heath of the First Baptist Church officiated.
Masonic services were conducted at the Jet cemetery. Burial was under the direction of Hodge-Smith Funeral Home.
Clyde LeRoy Tucker was born February 9, 1900 at Jet, Oklahoma. He was the son of Samuel Wilson and Mary Bettie Tucker. He was united in marriage to Lillian Carson of Jet, February 15, 1925.
Born to this union were three daughters, Olive Clydene Bruner of Columbus, Ga.; Wanda Lee Campbell of Plains, Kan., and Ruth Ann Perkins of Crystal Lake, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Randolph Harned Tucker.
Clyde received his education in the Jet schools and was also a baseball player of local reknown. He was associated for a time with his father in the Bank at Jet, afterward devoting full time to farming and livestock production and trading livestock. His lifes work with livestock and his interest in baseball partially explained his great love fo children and horses. His interest in children was evicence by his work with boys in the American Legion baseball program for a number of years.
During the thirties, Clyde purchased the Community Livestock Sale in Cherokee and successfully operated it for several years. It was during this time that the family moved to Cherokee and have continued to make it their home. Following disposal of the sale, Clyde continued his widespread farming and cattle operations.
At an early age he joined the First Methodist Church at Jet. He was also a member of the Jet Masonic Lodge NO. 438; The Modern Woodman of America and the Sons of The American Revolution.
In addition to his wife, daughters and mother, he is survived by one Brother, W. G. Tucker of Jet and two sisters, Mrs. herman Nelson of Sapulpa and Mrs. T. R. Cole of Wichita and a host of relatives and friends.
