Billie Solomon Norville, 81, of Morganton, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019 at Frye Regional Hospital following a period of declining health.

Billie was born March 21, 1938 in Rutherford County, to the late Thomas Crawford Norville and Robert Mae Laughter Norville.

He was a member of Nowlings Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Paul Norville, Ray Norville, Ben Norville, Crawford Norville, George Norville, Silas Norville, Ronnie Norville, and infant Donnie Norville; sisters, Mary Lee Laughter, Addie Bea Yelton, and Carrie Mae Tessoneer; great-grandson, Jacob Wright; step-grandchild, Logan Cline; and step-great-grandson, Blakely Cline.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Nowlings Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Darby Hensley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Nowlings Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.
