Rosemarie Wilson was born August 23, 1947 in Dachau, West Germany to Peter & Elisabeth (Weyrauther) Flinck. She departed this life on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 in Claremore, OK, at the age of 72 years, 2 months, & 21 days.

Rosemarie graduated high school in Dachau, West Germany. On August 26, 1968, Rosemarie & Johnny Wilson were united in marriage in Dachau. They had lived in West Germany for some time, before moving to Sapulpa, OK. They settled in Locust Grove, where they have lived for the last 40 years. The couple had been married for over 51 years.

Rosemarie was a dedicated homemaker. She had worked outside the home in several daycares around the Locust Grove area for over 10 years. She loved to take care of infants & toddlers, & had a love for all children. She enjoyed going to church where she attended at the Cedar Crest Baptist Church in Cedar Crest, OK.

Rosemarie enjoyed being outside & had a love for camping & boating, as well as gardening. She enjoyed trips to Six Flags in Arlington, TX & Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO. While in Branson, she enjoyed the many different music shows there. Rosemarie loved to listen to country & polka music that the family played almost every weekend. Above all, spending time with & loving her family was the most important thing in Rosemarie’s life. She will be missed by all that knew & loved her.

Rosemarie is survived by: Her husband: Johnny Wilson of the home; 3 daughters: Claudia Trout & husband Steve of Pryor, OK, Monika Simmons & husband David of Rockwall, TX, & Christine Wilson of Locust Grove, OK; 5 grandsons: Shaun Trout & wife Jessica of Broken Arrow, OK, Dalton Trout & wife Heather of Pryor, OK, Jake Gililland of Amarillo, TX, & Beau Simmons & wife Cristelle of Mabank, TX, & Devon Mennecke of Tahlequah, OK; 1 granddaughter: Madison Mennecke of Locust Grove, OK; 2 great grandsons: Luke Champlin of Rockwall, TX, & Alexander Trout of Broken Arrow, OK.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; & 1 granddaughter: Cheyenne Simmons of Rockwall, TX.

Funeral services: Monday, November 18, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Locust Grove, Oklahoma. Brother Shawn Bates and Reverend Blake Wallace will officiate. Interment is at the Hogan Cemetery in Locust Grove, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the Locust Grove Funeral Home.
