Phyllis Louse Ross, the daughter of John and Greta (Thompsen) Biltoft, was born on August 5, 1936 at Nora, Nebraska. She passed away on November 14, 2019 at the Parkview Haven Nursing Home at Deshler, Nebraska at the age of 83 years, 3 months, 9 days.

Phyllis attended Sunny view country school and Superior schools graduating from Superior High School. She was a member of Nora Methodist church before transferring to the United Methodist Church in Superior. She was united in marriage to Arnold Ross on August 21, 1955 at the Nora Methodist Church, to this union 4 sons were born. They raised their family on a farm near Webber and Phyllis also was a cook at the Nursing Home for many years.

She was a member of the Valley View Club, Couples Card Club, and the United Methodist Women. She was an avid reader, and made many quilts and ceramic items. She was a devoted farm wife and mother to her four sons. She was an avid K-State fan and enjoyed attending the football games. She enjoyed dancing especially Polka’s and 2-step. She attended all the boy’s school activities and sporting events.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Greta, and one brother Earl Biltoft.

Survivors include her husband Arnold of Webber; sons Mark (Janet) of Federal Way, Washington, Kent (Susan) of Superior, Nebraska, Jay (Kathy) of Superior, Nebraska, and Eric (Lisa) of Manhattan, Kansas; 10 grandchildren Amy Reeve, Kevin Reeve, Samantha (Richard) Ross, Wendi Cochran, Evan (friend Taylor) Ross, Brett (Kelly) Ross, Ethan Ross, Colin Ross, Madison and Hannah Ross; 3 great grandchildren Kaitlin, Jeremiah, and Joey; and several great great grandchildren; her brother Don (Lola) Biltoft of Nelson, Nebraska and sister Lora Novak of Lebanon, Oregon; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
