Greta Faye Biltoft a resident fo (sic) Nora, Nebraska community for 35 years, passed away at the Nuckolls County Memorial Hospital in Superior on August 20th, 1969 at the age of 65 years and 15 days.

Greta Faye Thompson was born at Simms (sic), North Dakota, August 5, 1904, the daughter of Joshua and Fannie Thompson. In 1919 she moved with her family to Virginia, Nebraska.

She was united in marriage with John Biltoft and lived on their farm near Nora until shortly before her death when her health failed her. She was preceded in death by her husband on August 22, 1966, on brother and one sister.

She leaves to mourn her passing; two sons: Donald of Nelson, Earl of Eagle, Nebraska; two daughters: Mrs. Phyllis Ross of Webber, Kansas and Mrs. Lora Novak of Tangent, Oregon; fourteen grand children; four brother (sic): Asa of Salem, Oregon, Tom of Roy, Washington, Jack of Baker, Oregon and Ray of Ontario, Oregon; two sisters: Mrs. Ruby Weiss of Benkelmen, Nebraska and Mrs. Evelyn Lee of Scio, Oregon and a host of many many friends.

Greta Biltoft had been a member of the Nora Methodist Church for many years and lived a faithful and consistant Christian life. She was a lady of high ideals and was deeply devoted to her family. She was well known and respected by many and was ever ready to help a friend or neighbor when she was needed.

Funeral Services were held at the Nora Methodist Church August 22, with Rev. L.A. Hansen and Rev. Loren Silsby conducting the serivce. Mrs. Jan Schnitker was organist and Miss Elizabeth Wehrman sang "In the Garden" and "No Night There." Pall Bearers were: Maurice Biltoft, Oscar Biltoft, Roy Biltoft, Chester Marr, Andrew Andersen and Royce Anderson of Benkelmen, Nebraska.

Interment was at the Evergreen Cemetery, Superior.

All memorials were sent to the American Cancer Society for Leukemia Research.
