Mary Helen Blevins, 88, of Beckley passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019. Mary was a former RN at Beckley VAMC for 17 years.

She was born on December 8, 1930 in Itmann, WV to the late Robert Lee Belcher (1900-1932) and Rose "Rosie" Lilly Ballard-Belcher-Clyburn (1902-1975). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma May Belcher-Cisco (1924-1987); a brother, Ted "Teddy" Willard Belcher (1927-1962); her stepfather, Roscoe Monroe Clyburn (1917–2004); and a half brother, James William Clyburn (1936–2014).

She is survived by her husband, Oakley Blevins (1931-2020) whom she married on December 25, 1951 in Glen Fork, Wyoming County, WV, 1951, Page 408, Application Date: December 8, 1951); a brother, Bob Belcher; and three half brothers, Bill Clyburn, Joe Clyburn, and John Douglas Clyburn.

Following Mary’s wishes there will be no service or visitation.
