Hilton, New York: On Wednesday November 6, 2019.
Predeceased by his parents, Rosario and Rose Marie Albano.
Survived by his loving wife, Diane R. "Glathar" Albano; 4 step-children; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Joanne Poupore; brother, Jerry Albano; several nieces; nephews; many cousins; and dear friends.
All who had the fortune of knowing Jim, being in his company, and receiving the gift of his love can agree that he was one of a kind, with a soul unlike any other. He was a man whose light shined so bright wherever he went, whose attention and care was limitless, and whose smile and charm won the hearts of so many—most deeply and devotedly of all Diane, his sweetheart, whom he adored with every fiber of his being and who will forever sparkle from the light of his love.
The joy we have in our hearts from having felt the warmth of his is a testament to the way he lived his life, a testament to the enthusiasm and optimism he had for all of us each and every day and the incredible power of his love.
Let us carry him in our lives through these memories, through his legacy of kindness and love, and find ourselves on the sunny side of the street, right where he’ll always be.
No prior calling hours.
Jim's Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 am, on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, in Saint Leo's Church 167 Lake Avenue in Hilton.
