Mickey served in the U.S. Army before beginning a career as a welder.
In his spare time Mickey loved playing golf and watching college football.
Mickey departed this life Friday, November 1, 2019 at the Wagoner Health and Rehab Center, where he recently moved from Fort Gibson, OK.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Marilyn Cantrell and Yvonne “Herby” Cahill and a brother-in-law, Leo Cahill.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Amy Cantrell of Wagoner, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Jacob Cantrell and Liz Cantrell of Wagoner, Oklahoma; four nieces, Janie Cahill, Sharon Littrell, Karla Donnell and Karen Gideon; one nephew, Kenny Harrald.
Funeral service: Thursday, November 7, 2019 in the Chapel at Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory. The Reverend Gloria Denton will officiate.
Interment is in Citizens Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
