Edward Eugene “Geno” Manley II, 60, of Maysville, Kentucky died Monday, November 11, 2019 at the UC Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Geno was a Special Investigator for Kentucky Farm Bureau, a member of the Saint Patrick Church, an avid musician and animal lover. He was a graduate of Mason County High School and a graduate of the University of Kentucky where he received his Bachelor Degree and his Master Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. Geno was born in Maysville, Kentucky on November 10, 1959 the son of Dolores Sauer Manley of Maysville, Kentucky and the late Edward Eugene Manley. Beside his mother, he is survived by his wife of twenty-five years, Melissa Daulton Manley; his son, Kaleb Kattine (Alexandra) of Maysville, KY; his granddaughter, Paxtyn Kattine; his brother, Kirk Manley (Kelly) of Evansville, IN; his sister-in-law, Jodi Manley of May’s Lick, KY and several nieces and nephews. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Michael Manley. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Saint Patrick Church on Friday, November 15, 2019 with Rev. Andrew Young as the celebrant. Burial will follow in the Maysville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Saint Patrick Church on Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 5 to 8 PM. Memorials may be made to the Buffalo Trace Humane Society, PO Box 758, Maysville, KY 41056. The arrangements are entrusted to the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home.
