– Sincere sorrow and regret was felt in the vicinity when it became known that Mrs John G. Toshack had suddenly passed away Tuesday evening, after a few hours' illness from acute indigestion, at the age of 72 years. Deceased, whose maiden name was Janet Young, daughter of the late Robert Young, was well known here, being a resident of the community from childhood. A lady of a king, cheerful, and loving disposition, she made many friends who deeply regret her sudden demise, The late Mrs Toshack is survived by one daughter, Mrs Wm A. Snedden, and one son, Greville, on the homestead. Her husband, one daughter, and one son died a number of years ago, She also survived by two sisters and three brothers, Mrs Buckham of Ottawa; Mrs Foster, of Casselman; William Young, Ramsay; Stephen Young in Western Ontario, and P.J. Young in Almonte, who have the sincere sympathy of a large circle of friends in their sad and sudden bereavement, The funeral takes place from her late residence on the 9th line, Ramsay, to the eighth line cemetery on Friday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock. Service at the house at 2.
